Climbers

Climbing plants are essential for covering walls, pergolas, porticos, tunnels, and for masking any unattractive element; to form green walls next to fences or railings, especially in cities where the smallness of the space rarely allows the use of shrubs or conifers for hedges. Some species and varieties are also very useful as ground cover plants, to cover the ground where it would be impossible to grow or maintain grass lawns. Some people believe that climbing plants damage walls, while on the contrary, they contribute to keeping them in good condition because they absorb moisture. Care should be taken to monitor the growth of branches and prevent them from invading gutters and roofs through pruning. Be careful that the leaves do not clog drainage and water disposal pipes. A few simple precautions to achieve good results.
